JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Crew Manager/Field Administrator will lead the Polaris Field Crew with direct reporting
to the Crew Manager and the V.P. of Operations. The Assistant Crew Manager/Field Administrator is
responsible for field operations and conduct of all personnel and equipment as assigned by his/her
immediate supervisor or designate.
He/She must understand the program objectives as directed by his/her
immediate supervisor and execute these objectives in a safe and cost efficient manner. This position
provides technical and orientation assistance to all field personnel. This person works as a coach and
mentor to the recording crew employee and contractors in support of the on-going development of the
recording crew team and general safety practices as outlined in the Polaris Corporate Manual, and as
required by federal and provincial regulations.
The Assistant Crew Manager/Field Administrator is expected
to identify and bring forward issues that may affect the health & safety of Employee-Partners, contractors
and/or the community in which we operate.
The Assistant Crew Manager/Field Administrator when assigned,
is a person who instructs, directs, and stewards workers in the performance of their duties.
