VIBE OPERATOR

   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge and experience exhibiting, implementing, and promoting safe behaviors
  • Class 3 Drivers license with air endorsement.
  • Heavy equipment operation experience.
  • 2-3 years experience and certification in seismic heavy equipment field operations.
  • Strong leadership initiatives including group problem solving and decision making skills.
  • The appropriate level of proficiency and experience in field related seismic work.
  • Polaris WHMIS /H2S awareness certificate of training.
  • TDG Awareness certificate of training.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, (including the use of technology).

   JOB SUMMARY

 The Vibe Operator participates in all maintenance and service to maximize functionality and efficiency of the equipment. The operator will ensure continuous safety and performance checks in all phases of the equipment operation. 

 He/She will assist in orientation and stewardship of all field personnel working as a coach and mentor to the recording crew employee in support of the on-going development of the recording crew team and general safety practices as outlined in the Polaris Corporate Manual, and as required by federal and provincial regulations.

  The operator will participate and commit to all Polaris pre-mob and daily safety meetings prior to equipment operation.
